As you’ll see, Flippant Friday is upon us again. It’s Bagging Scotland’s biased and thinly-researched roundup of the week’s more Scottish moments. Cancel your newspaper and magazine subscriptions because all the fodder you’re ever going to need for your weekend pub argument is right here. No need to thank us – we’re a true public service for Scotland, we’re only doing our job.
If you’ve visited Prestonpans, just outside Edinburgh, you’d probably agree with us that it’s a fairly unremarkable place. However, if a high-profile Scottish Author has his way, it’s set to be home to the World’s longest tapestry.

We’ve just begun working with the BA Business (Hons) students at the University of Strathclyde. The team we’re working with are specialising in Marketing and Entrepreneurship and are helping us on an extensive strategic project, to take Bagging Scotland to the next stage.

Mid January already and as you’ll notice we’re evolving Bagging Scotland, to incorporate a number of new aspects. With video becoming increasingly important, we’re going to be focusing on this a lot more in 2011.

This year, we’ve been getting about some of Scotland’s most remote islands and we intend to visit ALL of Scotland’s remotest places. So, we were really interested when one of our Bagging chums the lovely Abby at Shetland My Love came up with (another) really great blog about Fair Isle.
