This is my essay and for it I have to write about Scottish features (Scottish traditions and things that Scotland is popular or famous for) like: landmarks, inventors, writers poets, comedians, drinks and lots more.

The Scottish Legend that I’m going to write about is THE LOCH NESS MONSTER. The Loch Ness Monster is said to live in the deep waters of the Loch itself. FACT: There have supposedly been attempts of trying to record the mythical creature as far back as the 6^th century.

Scottish comedians are great, my whole family like one comedian out of all of them…which is Billy Connolly. I like him because one of his jokes about three lions Agnes, Betty and him pretending to be one of them which I thought was hysterical.

I’m going to write about the country side – me and my family have seen a lot of Scotland’s country because my mum likes to go camping. Well so do I, but it was my mum that gave me the experience. Probably 9 out of 10 of our camping is done in Scotland, so far Durness in John O’Groats has been the best because the scenery is amazing.

Scottish drinks I am talking about are BARR’s. Because they have loads of brands to talk about: IRN-BRU, Limeade, Cherryade, Coca Cola, Rock star, Monster and loads more. Can you believe that these were all made by the one man? That man is called A.G. Barr. My personal favourite is Scotland’s traditional drink IRN BRU.

Scottish foods – I would say that haggis is the most traditional food that Scotland has and that is why I’m going to write about it. The best known haggis maker is Charles MacSween (his shop is in Edinburgh) but his haggis is sold all over Scotland.
