Beer (Brewery) Bagging
Public Group active 5 months, 3 weeks agoFrom Orkney right down to the Borders, there’s brilliant beer to bag in Scotland! Brewery Bagging will take you to some of the most interesting bits of Scotland (Orkney, Aviemore, Loch Fyne, Islay, The Black Isle, Skye etc etc) so if you’re not a Whisky person, go Beer Bagging instead of Whisky Bagging!

Beer (Brewery) Bagging 2011/11/28 6:28 pmAnyone visited the Black Isle Brewery? They’ve recently moved to a new premises complete with automated bottling – they used to do all the bottling & labelling by hand! Fantastic beer imho (which I think should be better promoted), Blonde is definitely my favourite.

Beer (Brewery) Bagging: 2011/09/02 1:04 pmBagged a few beers in the BrewDog bar in Glasgow – simply stunning, sampled 41% IPA!

Haven’t managed to get round there yet – looks great from the outside tho and I’ve sampled a fair few outside of the bar…

I walked in to BrewDog Glasgow and staggered out three hours later. The highlight was Exotic Punch, a tremendous Danish IPA. Was lucky enough to be in the Aberdeen bar the night of the ’IPA Wars’. Three blackboards of hopped up beers from around the world. My favourite BrewDog beer is Hardcore IPA. You can tell I like IPAs.

Found BrewDog for sale in a bar in Porto Alegre, Brazil! They get around eh!

Beer (Brewery) Bagging: 2010/07/02 9:07 pmRight, this is something we know a LOT about. We’d suggest Caledonian Brewery in Edinburgh do the finest real ale on Earth but we would do. Having Bagged Islay recently, their Islay is fabulous…heck, they’re ALL pretty dashed good. We’ve just been speaking to http://bit.ly/96FHWL so you can add them to the list as well!
