Scotland’s Best Breakfast
Public Group active 1 year, 11 months agoThe ‘full’ Scottish with lots of bacon, black pudding and sausages or a perfect Arbroath Smokie with a free range, poached egg? The finest jam from the Carse of Gowrie and homemade bread? Everyone likes something different. Where, in your opinion can you get the best Scottish breakfast?

Scotland's Best Breakfast: 2010/07/18 1:43 pmThe Mountain Cafe in Aviemore cooks up a storm of a full breakfast. Fabulous local black pudding, sausages and bacon from the butcher along the road. Also offer the most amazing vegan and veggie options too. Check them out on FB. Views out of every window to the Cairngorm mountains, great music and a super relaxed atmosphere.

Scotland's Best Breakfast: 2010/07/02 6:05 pmI’m biased as I run a B&B, so my breakfast of course! However a couple of years ago we stayed at the Hilton at Coylumbidge, Aviemore and their buffet breakfast was outstanding.

Scotland's Best Breakfast: 2010/07/02 5:27 pmWe’ve got an unusual choice. It’s The Southern Cross Cafe in Edinburgh’s Cockburn Street. Australian themed but the ’Full Scottish’ is magnificent. Lots of really good, really fresh produce AND hash browns! Does this count as a Scottish breakfast? You tell us!
