Still travelling Around Scotland as and when I can, but unfortunately a new job cuts in to the time available to do that as much as I’d like… however we have 2 holidays booked (one north and the other south) in the near future so plenty to look forward to!

Unfortunately the sky dive had to be postponed as the weather didn’t was against us (apparently it was too windy). Sean was the most disappointed and will be getting another sky dive booked as soon as he can… so watch this space!

The roads down either side of the Kintyre peninsula! On a good day the A83 has cracking views over Jura, Gigha, Islay and even Ireland… and on some stretches you can even build up a bit of speed! Not to be outdone, the B842 on the opposite side has great views over Arran; it also offers you a bit more driving ”variety” than the A-road with its single-track section as well as blind summits, tight corner and steep climbs (sometimes all 3 at the same time!)

Irrespective of the losses we suffered (and sometimes that was our own fault – chosing the wrong position was too common an error to start off with, but there were other reasons!) I personally think Battlesite Bagging is a great idea… what better way to commemorate the Scots who fought and died for a cause they believed in?

Have to agree that this is a nice beach, especially with the views over to the Small Isles! My favourite beach has to be the one in Morar Bay itself… Ben might have had his beach in that area, but for a few days during the summer that was OUR Beach!
