I have just heard that the wonderful, historic Barrowlands Ballroom in Glasgow is to be bulldozed! Is this true? If so they must be stopped. Yes the Barrowlands and the Barras are in need of some investment, but should not be demolished for whatever they’re going to build that we already have loads of. Let’s ”Dae Something”

I’ve confused you a bit i think. City centre is the hub and East end is the area stretching out from there to the east for many miles, but… Dennistoun is only a couple of miles from city centre. Ha ha, great idea, with the proclaimer boys singing it will sound kinda threatening, like an ansafone message left by an ex who keeps stalking you, great xmas fayre!! I’d forgotten they had a female drummer, only half a kit, you may have noticed, in those days they really were the fairer sex!

hi, bet you’re really looking forward to moving to Glasgow, I did it twenty years ago and will be here forever. If you google “flats to let glasgow” you’ll get lots of agencies etc. For information on areas etc, they may be less than honest! But, I’m happy to help out here.
