I didn’t see many Scottish beaches, in fact only one. So my vote goes to Kilchoman beach at Machir Bay on the Isle of Islay. I was there on a very warm and sunny day during Feis Ile 2008 for a barbeque with some nice folks and if you see the pictures you would never guess its on a hebridean island.
